Dear Brethren,
Well here it is the third issue of this
unformatted E-Newsletter.
First & foremost of the upcoming events
is the Installation of Bro. Joe Bryce @ Lodge Ugie 939
(Mintlaw). Wednesday January 26. Tyle @ 7:30pm. I am hoping
to make it along with Bro. Cooknell (our photographer) and will be glad to
see of many of you as possible.
Below I've listed Website updates &
notable events that have already transpired, along with forthcoming events,
they're listed according to date:
- December 30, 2004. PM Bro. John
Southworth was made an Honorary Life Member of Lodge Fraser No: 267. Much
to the surprise of many brethren this is the first time that honour has ever
bestowed upon him. In his own humble words he expressed the explanation for
this "Well, I've just never been in the right place at the right time". On
behalf of all at St. Andrew 518 "Congratulations Johnny !"
- January 1, 2005. Received
another two awards for the site. One for 2004 & one for 2005. Again both
are proudly displayed on our awards page.
- January 9: Yet another award.
- January 9: Updated site contact
information & Office Bearers for 2005.
- January 11: Yet another award
- January 19: Mr. Duncan Hogg &
Mr. Barry Willox were initiated into the craft.
- January 21: Added photos to
"Gallery 2005". Also photos from recent Installation.
- January 23: Hate to say this,
but yes I got another award for the Website.
- January 26: Lodge Ugie
939 - Installation - Tyle 7:30pm
- February 2: Wednesday -
Regular Meeting. 2nd. Degree for Bro. Duncan Hogg.
- February 5: Saturday.
Visitation from Lodge Camperdown 317 (Dundee) to work a 1st. degree for Mr.
John Wiseman. Degree to be followed by Harmony in Lodge anti-room.
- February 26: Saturday -
Reigning Masters. In the Chair RWM Bro. John Shields. Held this year at
Lodge Fraser 267. Tyle 6:30pm. (3rd. Degree ???)
If you have any forthcoming Lodge
events that you would like advertised I will be happy to add them both to
this mailing list & to the events diary on the Lodge Website.
Lastly, but by no means least on behalf
of all at St. Andrew 518 I would like to congratulate our newly raised
Junior Deacon Bro. David Cooknell for the excellent manner in which he
conducted himself and the candidates during our recent working of a 1st.
Degree. (Even if you did pick the little guy).
